Members and guests of Tuatha de Brighid are invited to participate in our Virtual Rituals. At agreed upon date and time, those who wish to participate may light a candle and hold a ritual at home - private or public, as individuals or groups. There are some words that are offered as a suggestion to be said in common by all of us - but each is free to express their religious practice as they see fit as long as they refrain from harmful purposes. This is a basic offering/prayer service, whose purpose is to honor Brighid as our Clan Mother, build and strengthen ritual kinship bonds between ourselves and Those we worship, support each other as the need arises, and generally share "warm-n-fuzzies".Those of us who wish, are invited to come, in groups or singly, to their own altars or other sacred places at a designated time on a designated date. The announcements for upcoming virtual rituals are made on our email lists. It is suggested that we say some words in common to signify ritual unity and kinship during the Ritesl. At this time the words are as follows (some of these are actually songs - feel free to experiment with a melody, and at a later date we might share it and perhaps agree on a common one): In the beginning of the Rite (possibly right before lighting the candle): IN THE SILENCE OF OUR MINDS, IN THE MUSIC OF OUR VOICES, While lighting the candle: I KINDLE THE SACRED FIRE Prayer: OH BRIGHID, AND (all ye Kindred Spirits) At the conclusion of the Rite (possibly right before putting out the candle): IN THE SILENCE OF OUR MINDS, IN THE MUSIC OF OUR VOICES, For an example please see the following ritual.
